                   Re Mykonos Holiday Home

                    If you arrive with Easyjet at Mykonos Airport, you normally arrive at about noon.  Directly opposite the exit from the airport there are usually a few taxis, or you may need to wait a few minutes until one arrives.

             Ask the taxi driver to take you to Ornos, and about 100m before the bottom of the steep hill ( after the bottleneck ) there is the Anixi Hotel on the Right Hand Side. At this point, on the left side there is a turning by a double wooden electric pole with a transformer. (see picture ) Take this left turn, and follow the road round to the right for about 100m.  There are about 5 parking spaces on the left hand side and a blue door. 

         Leave the taxi here ( get his number for future use ) and go through the blue door to the grounds where our house is located.. On the opposite side of the swimming pool you will find our house with the name outside which says Alcyone.
Unlock the door and make yourself at home. You would be wise to spend the first 5 or 10 minutes ensuring that

 1)                the electricity is all turned on (switches outside dowstairs bathroom )

2)                 especially hot  water switches

          Then, place all the outside furniture, front & back, up and down, outside to give you a bit more room. Caution, with the stairs. They are rather steep, and the steps are rather high., and the hand rail is of little use other than for a midget.

        I suggest you now unpack, and familiarize yourselves with the details of the house.        

        I suggest that if you are new to Mykonos, that you walk to Ornos beach and have a drink and maybe a meal at Ithaki restaurant, one of our local favourites.
